Lulu Leaves Behind Ray, JB And Wema Sepetu As The Highest Paid Tanzanian Actor !

According to new reports Lulu Elizabeth Michael is the highest paid Tanzanian actor. And if you have been asking yourself why Lulu currently acts in few movies since her Foolish Age movie premiere in August 2013 this is the answer.
Speaking with Zamaradi Mketema of TakeOne, Clouds TV Lulu said Proin Promotions which manages her presently pays her well for it's movies she acts in ( it is said she is paid 10 million for every movie by Proin Promotions and also gets not less than 8 million every month and other allowances), so if she is needed to act in a movie outside Proin Lulu demands 15 million as minimum payment, remember it is minimum not maximum so it depends on the role offered.

Lulu who is one of top celebrities in the Tanzanian entertainment industry also considered as one of best actors of her time said she re-branded herself and Proin Promotions maintained it by offering her good contract.

Currently maximum payments for some top Tanzanian actors playing lead roles is 5 million per movie but it depends on since some actors have been paid more than that amount, Example it is said Irene Uwoya was paid 8 million for her role in Offside, Wema Sepetu was paid 10 million in Madam which released in 2014.

Keep in mind this didn't include actor-producers who are paid 30-40 million maximum for their movies but they are paid that amount as producers-actors not as actors only. However last year Wema Sepetu was said to be offered 140 million by two competitive distributers for her two unreleased movies . JB Jacob Stephen and Ray Vicent Kigosi for sometime now they haven't appeared in movies outside their respective productions but they also demand great payments which other producers can't afford.

Lulu was acting in many movies before but currently some producers can't afford her price but she said she is happy because she gets what she wants so anyone wants to work with her should pay the amount. Remember Lulu is one of actors who are doing well in the market.

About 3 months ago one weekly newspaper wrote Lulu is the highest paid actor in Tanzania estimated to earn more than 100 million per year from her contract with Proin Promotions.

Keep it up Lulu, but we think you deserve more than that considering Tanzanian movies are loved by many people in east and central Africa but one of the problem is still the government hasn't decided to look at the industry as a source of revenue so pirates benefits a lot.
