KERI HILSON DISCUSSES MOVIE ROLE AND NEW ALBUM FOR 2013
Let's be honest, after one of the dullest years in music, I am beyond ready for 2012 to end, and 2013 to begin. Kelly Rowland,Beyonce,Maria Carey,Ciara,Lady Gaga,Katty Perry,Nick Minaj, Eve and other divas are preparing to set the billboard charts ablaze, after many of them being silent for quite some time, including "single-ladies" step child Keri Hilson.
The songstress which has been playing it low-key this year, plans on making 2013 the year of her return.Back in march this year she said in reference to her upcoming release " Am working on a new sound, my first two albums to me were incredible, they were moment in time, "in a perfect world" was very emotional and tapped into how I was feeling at the time, and my last album "No boys allowed" that was how I was feeling as well at the time. The new music has kind of both sides, very emotional, but I have also gone through some hurt in the past couple of years, so I will be explaining some things"
Last week before taking the stage and performing during the VH1's Divas, Hilson revealed that she will be taking her talents to the big screen. A theatre major in college, she will be appearing alongside Vin Disel in the Sci-fi film, The Chronicles of Riddick:Dead Man Stalking
She also let fans know that she has not forgotten about her roots, and plans on blessing them with third LP "my fans have been super patient with me, I took a little break and am back" , said the singer-song writer.
