Shilole Helps A Young Girl Who Ran From Forced Child Marriage.

Singer and actress Shilole, has helped a young girl named Upendo(pictured above) from Morogoro who was forced to be married under age.
Upendo's story was one of Clouds fm's news today and when Shilole heard the news she came out to help the child who is currently in Dar es salaam from Morogoro.

Shilole who herself experienced almost the same thing during her childhood said that as a woman she felt so bad about upendo's story. so she was willing to help her till her family comes out. Shilole explained more,  when she was in Igunga, Tabora young girls were raped, impregnated and forced to early marriages but there were no steps taken to punish those who caused all that, rather things were solved as family issues despite having great impact in our societies and the whole nation, so the young girls had no right to education which is very important for any child's future.

Shilole concluded, Upendo is too young to live with a man as her husband, Shilole urged laws should be taken to stop early marriages, rape .
